I will say both magazines performed flawlessly for me, however the P398 magazines were slightly easier to load by hand. It is equally reliable, has similar sights and grips, and the difference in size is pretty much negligible in our opinion. Had to use a screwdriver and twist the barrel in the chamber area to get it to release. No problems with the Micro 9's either the Sig or Kimber are good.

The base plastic needs to be trimmed in order to fit the Micro 9. The 6 round Sig P938 mags are interchangeable and readily available. I spoke to Kimber about Micro 9 magazine availability and they said currently they are holding mags for guns in production, but will have availability shortly (shortly is an unknown timeline). Went with the Micro 9. My buddy has the P938, likes it as well. The Sig has an external extractor and two-piece guide rod, but otherwise they are the same gun other than aesthetics. The guide rod is known to dismember and fly forward without warning. To me the Kimber is infinitely more attractive. I own full size Kimber and full size Sig pistols and both have been super reliable. Soon I am buying a micro compact for concealed carry. For my personal preference on this particular purchase I am only considering hammer fired, not striker fired pistols.
