It was originally going to be for everyone, then at some point was changed to only included with Launch Edition (after deliveries started and some Adventure deliveries were made with key bands). Supposedly the band will be in the Gear Store in Fall 2022.

The lack of key band for non-launch editions really shouldn’t be a big deal, but it feels like it is. I remember watching the video highlighting it and thinking how cool it was. Now I’ll just have to hope that a launcher decides to sell their Rivian and is willing to sell their key band separately. VERY disappointing.
